- Transfer & Start-up Procedure - 1. Colorado Real Estate Commission - Get a copy of the license transfer form signed by your new Brokers Guild Broker. Hand carry this form to the Colorado Real Estate Commission. They will give you a receipt. Be sure to make a copy of your receipt for our office files. You may also need to fax or e-mail a copy of that receipt to Metrolist. 2. Board of Realtors - Transfer your membership at the local board. Call your board for the procedure. We are a member of most of the local boards. We will happily join any other board that is within our service area. 3. Errors and Omissions Insurance - This should transfer over automatically because your Colorado Real Estate Commission individual E&O insurance covers you personally and follows you wherever you go. 4. Telephone and Showing Service - You complete your information form when you sign up. We enter the information online for you. Further information on our showing service is available on our Agent Tools page on our website under Showing Service. 5. Virtual Office WebServer - Brokers Guild - Cherry Creek Ltd. provides Virtual Office WebServer for all of our agents as a part of your monthly office fee. This program will save you a lot of time and money. Click on this link to www.HillSoft.com to download and install this software on your Windows Operating System computer. The software is not available for Apple or Linux operating systems. 6. Business Cards - Order by visiting the Brokers Guild Business Card page. 7. Signs - Our local sign company is RMD Signs. You may reach them by calling 303-573-5500. Your name riders should be white print on a black background. We have signs available in the office. 8. After Hours Office Entry - We have a lockbox along side of both the front and rear entrances. Get the combination from your broker. 9. Auto Insurance - Contact your insurance agent to have Brokers Guild - Cherry Creek Ltd. added as an additional insured. 10. Forms - We maintain a complete forms library on our Agent Tools page at BrokersGuildHomes.com. That way you have the most current version of whatever form you need whenever and wherever you need it. We do not maintain a paper forms file in the office. 11. Web Sites for Our Agents - We currently offer both free web sites for our agents. The information is available on our website Agent Tools page. We will be soon offering fully featured paid agent websites. 12. Metrolist - We can fill out the transfer form for you online. You will be doing your own broker loading of listings. So if you need a class on Metrolist's Broker Load, check out their free continuing education calendar. You can find the link on the Brokers Guild Continuing Education Page. 13. Metrolist Direct Billing - Our agents will all be using Direct Billing with Metrolist. You need to complete and submit a Metrolist Direct Billing Agreement. 14. Listing Transfer Procedure - If you have listings with your previous company, our attorney suggests that you review your employment agreement and determine whether or not these listings will be released. After you have
determined that your former broker will release the listings, you should: We need a copy of each of these listing transfer documents for your office personnel file.
